Manager of D-Marin Portonovi Marina

Mr. Nikola Banović is Manager of D-Marin Portonovi Marina and Executive Director of Portonovi Marina Management Company.

Mr. Banović started his carrier in 1996 as a Deck Cadet on ocean going vessels. Through the next 10 years of sailing experience around the globe and serving aboard on ships of some most recognized maritime companies, he passed through all officer ranks.

Mr. Banović is Professional Seaman and has a University degree in Economy - Finance and Banking at Educons University Novi Sad. He has attended several specialized courses in maritime and marina management. He is fluent in English and Russian.

After gaining maritime experience he dropped an anchor home in Montenegro and in 2007 he became a part of the team that started developing operations in super yacht marina Porto Montenegro. After 7 years there on a position of Operations Manager, in 2014 he moved to another project and another marina - Dukley Marina Budva. He has been actively developing this marina with new owners and D-Marin for more than 2 years.

Mr. Banović joined Portonovi project in 2016 as a Marina Consultant. In the beginning of 2018 he was appointed to his current role.
